Call to Glory Campaign #1


Can you hear it? No need to pretend. Most can’t. Some hear it as the occasional distant rumble. Others, perhaps, as a tinny echo dancing at the edge of their hearing. For a few, however, it is a constant rhythm. A steady thrum, like the beat of heart. For the chosen, it is the beat of their heart, their lifeblood. Those destined souls are one with the call, the call to glory.


Seven warlords will give themselves over to its embrace:

The Bastard
The Bear
The Butcher
The Journeyman
The Legend
The Raj
The Tallyman

Seven mad fools begin the journey but only one Everchosen can end it.

The Rules 
Release #1 of the rules can be found on this Google Drive. These rules are elaborated on in the first thirty minutes of Episode 120 minutes of Point Hammered. (Along with much swearing at mongrel animals.)

These Rules doc describe how the Gifts of Chaos deck is used in games as well as the special army construction and scenario modification rules for smaller games. The remaining documents are the Gifts of Chaos cards themselves.

Release #2 will provide the overall campaign structure, the strongholds and rules for starting Gifts of Chaos decks. It will coincide with the release of Episode 121 of Point Hammered.

In the meantime, Release #1 has everything needed to try out a game with the Gifts of Chaos. Decide on some cards (say five each of level 0, 1, 2 and 3 cards) and give it a try!

The Format 
These blog posts will not be fluffy reams of maddened narrative, just the cold hard chaos facts. They are meant to be a supplement to the Podcast campaign reports and narrative or hobby campaign blog posts of other Magnificient Bastards on this here blog. Let's get crackin.

That's it for now! The campaign is off to a great start so far. The next campaign day should see the first day with all 7 players and the epic conclusion of Year One! Each Year going forward will add 100 points. Going from 100 to 200 points should prove quite interesting indeed!
