Orctonnian Pigasus Knight

I have finally accomplished some hobby work, after about 3 weeks of no activity. I present the first Orctonnian Pigasus Knight:
All told I have just over 50 hours into this model; that includes conversion and paint time, as well as building the custom base.

The skin tones on the orc are a unique color scheme that I've never tried before. It was done with Castellan Green, Death World Forest, and Elysian Green. There were several mixes in between each of those shades.
This fella was a really fun project. The one thing that is really detracting me from making real progress on this army at the moment is how long the riders take to paint. It's around 25 hours of work on the rider alone, and that's a bit disheartening.
The grimy metal work was done by painting the armor Boltgun Metal, then washing it with a Secret Weapon Miniatures Sephia wash mixed with a tiny bit of black. Then I went back and highlighted it with Boltgun Metal, Chainmail, and Mithril Silver. That wash color is such a great color, I really dig that product.
The shield glyph I made up. I wanted something orcy, yet somehow appropriate for a bro riding a pigasus.

That's it for now. At this point I have to convert up some models before I can do any more painting on the Orctonnians. I'll likely bust out 5 more Orcs of the Realm next.
