WAAAGH! Paca tables part 1- The Dwarven Road: Entrance to Karak Ursus

This will be the first in a series of posts highlighting some of the more unique tables I've made for WAAAGH! Paca, past and present.  They will be more of a showcase than a how to, even though I may post some WIP photos so you can get an idea of how they were made.  If you'd like more info on how they were done let me know and just maybe I'll get back to you.

The Dwarven Road: Entrance to Karak Ursus is one of the two really big table projects I did for WAAAGH! Paca 2012.  I think the overall effect of this table turned out really nice but there are some details that I had hoped to do that didn't happen this year that would have given the table a little more theme.  That and I think it needs more terrain (I held back this year to see how the valley was received).  Expect to see this tabled jazzed up a bit more next year.

Sadly there where no good photos of the Waupaca troll in the marsh/hill terrain piece in the corner (you can catch a glimpse in the upper right of the above photo).  She was painted by Mr. Joe Rogers and is up to her waist in envirotex lite water effects.  There are shots of troll #2 in the next WAAAGH! Paca table installment to give you a better idea of how she turned out.

That looks like a damn fun table to play on. The only thing that warms my shrivelled heart more than a finely painted army is a great gaming table. All too often folks don't even have a river set for regular gaming, so seeing this is really rather groovy.

A very creative table which looks to be very fun to play on. Though describes most of the tables at Paca.
